Achieving Honour Roll in both an academic and effort standing for the first time in high school reflects on the importance of hard work and dedication. Persistently throughout elementary and high school I struggled with my academics which changed my attitude toward school in a negative way. However, my family was persistent with their support and eventually I ended up with grades that I was proud of for my last few years of high school. I want my experience with education to help me to guide students through their educational journey by helping students to understand the value of hard work and dedication. My classroom will be a place where students will feel encouraged and willing to try new things and provide opportunities to learn from mistakes rather than having those mistakes define who they are.
