Planning and executing this lesson provided me with a valuable learning experience about conducting science experiments with a class. I learned to effectively execute an experiment, there are numerous components necessary to incorporate in order to promote student engagement and learning. I value all of the learning opportunities that are presented throughout my educational journey. Every day I take with an open-mind to ensure I am receiving the knowledge and understanding to become a teacher that provides students with the education and respect they deserve. Including fun, hands-on, and inquiry-based learning will help with student engagement and equipping them with the skills necessary to become active and informed citizens in society.
