These two images truly reflected on the humbling and rewarding experiences that teachers get to experience. During practicum, I was only part of the students’ lives for a brief amount of time, but still managed to make an impact on each individual student. Students need support and respect from their teacher, which is why I will devote the time to build relationships with each student. I want students to know that when they come into my classroom, it is a place to learn, share, and experience a variety of ways to learn. When the relationships are built, students then feel comfortable to share, discuss, and reflect on their work.
